Jamie founded Conduit Finance in 2007 after identifying a gap in the mid market for a boutique debt advisory firm.  The unsatisfied demand was from property and SME borrowers seeking an alternative from the retail banks.    

Jamie has previously worked for: 

  • St James’ Place: pensions, bonds & investments and pension technical

  • Prudential: pensions, bonds and endowments

  • AEGON: executive pensions, endowments and investments

  • Clydesdale Bank: real estate, retail banking and SME lending

  • Bank of Scotland: SME, real estate, retail banking projects

He is responsible for leading the team, the direction and growth of the business and supporting clients who require complex funding solutions.  Jamie is also a Director of Property Finance Finder and is about to launch Conduit Private Finance.

 

Lisa Pandolfi

Lisa joined Conduit Finance in early 2011 in a role that focuses on handling new business for loans below £500,000 and the operational side of our business.   She has a background in financial services and property and supports clients seeking loans from a range of source including retail banks and bridging lenders.  

Lisa has worked in Business development for an Edinburgh based property and investment firm and as a Para planner for a firm of IFA's handling ethical investment opportunities.  She has a Masters Degrees from St. Andrews, a degree from the University of London and also passed her FPC 1.

Jason Fernandes

Manager

Jason joined Conduit Finance in early 2019. He has over 8 years of experience within the banking and financial services both within the UK and the Middle East. Prior to joining the firm, Jason worked at TerraProtein Equity Partners Ltd. (formerly JB Equity Ltd.), a Corporate Finance and Advisory boutique, where he served as corporate finance adviser evaluating and delivering a wide range of M&A and advisory projects which include a:

·      €60m growth capital funding for a poultry processor in Eastern Europe

·      €59m an on-shore (land based) salmon farming transaction in sub-Saharan Africa

·      €10.5m growth capital transaction for an on-shore salmon farming operator in Western Europe

·      $5m growth capital funding for a leading African pork processor

·      $12m equity capital raise for a large Chilean Pork Processor - Coexca S.A

·      £26m seed capital transaction within the UK Protein Processing sector

·      £10m equity capital raise for Roslin Technologies Limited who were responsible for the creation of Dolly

At Conduit Finance, Jason works alongside the Managing Director Jamie Davidson to increase the firms deal flow in the pre-IPO, growth capital space. Jason focuses on a range of transaction which include acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs (MBOs), fund raising and strategic reviews for entrepreneurial management teams, unlisted corporate and private clients.

Jack Stevenson

Transaction Support

Jack provides Transaction Support to the Conduit Finance team.  He supports the team in Debt, Equity and Mezzanine fund-raising for SME and Corporate businesses, and for property developers and investors. 

Jack attended Holyrood High School and Edinburgh College where he studied for a Business Management HNC.  

In his spare time, Jack enjoys going to the gym and playing and training for his local rugby team.
When he can he travels to Spain to visit his family and friends.

Fergus Izat

Transaction Support

Fergus joined Conduit Finance in April 2019 to support the team with live deals as well as assist with business flow improvements.

He attended Harper Adams University from which he graduated with a degree in Agricultural Business Studies.   Fergus went on to achieve a Diploma in Foreign Exchange Trading in London.  On completion he stayed in London for a further year which he spent successfully trading major foreign exchange currencies before moving up to Edinburgh to join Conduit Finance.

In his spare time Fergus likes to keep fit at the gym and still enjoys swimming and skiing, both of which he participated in at school at a high-level.  He proudly won the British School’s Championship in 2012 for skiing.
