Jamie founded Conduit Finance in 2007 after identifying a gap in the mid market for a boutique debt advisory firm. The unsatisfied demand was from property and SME borrowers seeking an alternative from the retail banks.
Jamie has previously worked for:

Clydesdale Bank: real estate, retail banking and SME lending

He is responsible for leading the team, the direction and growth of the business and supporting clients who require complex funding solutions. Jamie is also a Director of Property Finance Finder and is about to launch Conduit Private Finance.
Scott McClymont joined Conduit Finance as a Director in 2016. Scott has a 21 year career in banking and financial services. His professional background includes time with Bank of Scotland, Barclays and Lombard. Most recently active in the Scottish market, Scott now focuses on serving clients from across the UK with who have requirements from £1m to £20m.
Scott joined Conduit Finance to augment the team’s technical ability, and provide experienced resource to help conclude property development and investment transactions.
Scott's strong service levels and Conduit's access to creative capital combined will result in our clients having a commercial advantage over their competition.

Daniel joined Conduit Finance in February 2018 to focus on client-side business development. His focus is SME and property transactions across the UK. Recent successes include an MBO of a demolition business, a property development finance fund raising at 95% loan to cost and a closing a growth capital raise for a Gin distiller entering the U.S.
Prior to joining Conduit Finance, Daniel enjoyed a successful career in recruitment helping organisations source senior finance professionals and building management teams. His network of accountants, managing directors and NXD's provides him with access to some of the most exciting and innovative companies active in the UK.
Daniel helps borrowers scope their projects and then source terms from our wide panel of capital providers which includes retail banks, challenger banks, family offices equity providers & private debt funds.

Lisa joined Conduit Finance in early 2011 in a role that focuses on handling new business for loans below £500,000 and the operational side of our business. She has a background in financial services and property and supports clients seeking loans from a range of source including retail banks and bridging lenders.
Lisa has worked in Business development for an Edinburgh based property and investment firm and as a Para planner for a firm of IFA's handling ethical investment opportunities. She has a Masters Degrees from St. Andrews, a degree from the University of London and also passed her FPC 1.
Jason joined Conduit Finance in early 2019. He has over 8 years of experience within the banking and financial services both within the UK and the Middle East. Prior to joining the firm, Jason worked at TerraProtein Equity Partners, a Corporate Finance and Advisory boutique, where he served as corporate finance adviser evaluating and delivering a wide range of M&A and advisory projects including:
· €60m growth capital poultry transaction in Eastern Europe
· €59m an on-shore salmon farming transaction in sub-Saharan Africa
· €10.5m growth capital transaction for an on-shore salmon farming operator in Western Europe
· $5m growth capital raise for a leading African pork processor
· $12m equity capital raise for a large Chilean Pork Processor - Coexca S.A
· £26m seed capital transaction within the UK Protein Processing sector
· £10m equity capital raise for Roslin Technologies Limited who were responsible for the creation of Dolly the Sheep (named after Dolly Parton)
At Conduit Finance, Jason will work alongside Managing Director Jamie Davidson to increase the firms deal flow in the pre-IPO, growth capital space. Jason will focus on a range of transaction types including acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs (MBOs), fund raising and strategic reviews for entrepreneurial management teams, unlisted corporate and private equity clients.

Jack provides Transaction Support to the Conduit Finance team. He supports the team in Debt, Equity and Mezzanine fund-raising for SME and Corporate businesses, and for property developers and investors.
Jack attended Holyrood High School and Edinburgh College where he studied for a Business Management HNC.
In his spare time, Jack enjoys going to the gym and playing and training for his local rugby team.
When he can he travels to Spain to visit his family and friends.

Jamie also provides Transaction Support to the Conduit Finance team. He supports the team in administering transactions for debt, equity and mezzanine fund-raising for SME and corporate businesses, and property developers and investors.
Jamie studied at George Watson’s College between 2002 - 2015 and Edinburgh College between 2015 -2016 and was previously employed by HSBC.
After work and on the weekend, Jamie enjoys going to the gym and playing rugby at the weekends.

Property Finance Finder
Our sister company - Property Finance Finder, is a web based portal that allows borrowers and advisers to source competitive Property finance products.
Launched in August 2014 it serves to connect property borrowers with sources of development and investment finance. Covering Senior Debt, Mezzanine and Equity sources its growing panel of lenders also includes less traditional sources such as contractor finance.
The system comprises 10 years of historic lender data and criteria as well as capturing the many new to market lenders we profile on a day to day basis. Beyond individuals and company borrowers the service is aimed at Accountants, IFA's and Brokers.
