Jamie Davidson

Real EstateSME & CorporatePrivate Banking

Jamie founded Conduit Finance in 2007 after a career in Banking, Pensions and Real Estate lending. The business was formed as a mid-market alternative to the smaller boutique firms and big 4 advisory businesses. Over the past 20 years in finance, Jamie has delivered a range of transaction types, including fundraisings, M&A and restructuring. Advisory mandates have included supporting management teams on pre-transaction capital structures and longer-term strategic planning. Active in a range of sectors he has previously acted for an eclectic range of clients including a listed Law Firm, Energy Producers, Property Developers, Hotel Operators and Farmers. Jamie’s focus is working with Entrepreneurs who are seeking growth.

Day-to-day Jamie is invariably travelling around the UK meeting with clients or capital providers. He is responsible for advising clients, leading transactions, and identifying new sources of debt and equity. Defining the strategic direction of the business is a particularly interesting challenge during these fluid market conditions.

Originally from Argyll, on the west coast of Scotland, Jamie now lives with his wife, two daughters and chocolate Labrador in the Scottish Borders. He previously played rugby for 30+ years, but now in his spare time enjoys squash, golf, watching rugby and motocross racing. He also enjoys family holidays and listening to podcasts that profile successful entrepreneurs and feature economics and business strategy.
